Apparently when a good movie does bad at the box office, and excellent in DVD/Video, Cult-Superstardom, it's time to bank in off of that even more.
So, they've written something called S. Darko which is going to revolve around Donnie's younger sister Samantha (Daveigh Chase reprising her role). The flick will have Samantha Darko traveling with friend Cory (both are 18 now) and take a road trip to Los Angeles. While on the trip they are plagued by visions.
Richard Kelly is not involved in this.
