True Blood is going to be a Louisiana based Vampire show starring (now) Stephen Root (Newsradio), Anna Paquin (X-Men), and a few other people. Root plays the lead character; who is a lonely vampire living in Louisiana, Paquin plays a telepathic waitress.
Alan Ball is the mastermind behind Six Feet Under.
