I have loved Rachel Nichols ever since she was on the shortlived FOX series The Inside I just found her to be very, very attractive. When I found out that she was playing Scarlett in the upcoming Steven Sommers directed GI JOE: The Movie live action flick...my head nearly exploded.

Anyway, a picture has surfaced of her in Scarlett garb. Oh man.

Rock and Fraser ...reteam for...

G.I. Joe The Movie! Yes, that's right folks. The Rock (aka Dwayne Johnson) and Monkeybone's own Brendan Fraser are going to be in the new Steven Sommer's helmed G.I. JOE flick.

The Rock has been offered the role of Shipwreck, and Fraser has apparently already filmed his cameo as Gung-Ho (whom, I always loathed).

It's not surprising to me, that The Rock and Brendan Fraser were offered these spots considering Sommers has directed the both of them prior to this in The Mummy Returns.

Oh well.

Also, I still can't understand how Joseph Gordon-Levitt is going to play Cobra Commander. He's like 12-years old.

I am so stoked for this flick, I mean, come on. A live action GI JOE flick? It's about damn time, Ray Park will be playing Snake Eyes in the flick (who knows if that's him under the black garb) alongside Dennis Quaid (Gen. Hawk) and Channing Tatum (Duke) just to name a few.

The reason why I am so...I guess if you can type skeptics, that would be skeptics. I recently wrote that Mike Vogel of Cloverfield was going to play Duke in the upcoming Steven Sommers (shudder the thought) GI JOE flick. However, I was wrong. I've found out that Channing Tatum of Step Up fame is going to play the biggest named GI JOE in history.

To be honest with you, I'm skeptical. Tatum put on a great fucking performance in A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, but I have yet to see him anything else but She's The Man and Step Up which were both fucking horrendous. Therefore, I am highly skeptical of this.

Tatum, though, has a flick coming out called Stop Loss which also stars Ryan Phillippe, Tim Olyphant, and Joseph-Gordon Levitt. It's about a soldier who refuses to return to war, despite the military forcing him too.

Apparently Sam Worthington who was up for the role of Duke in GI JOE, a live-action flick based on the 80's cartoon, has dropped out due to conflicts with his Avatar schedule.

Mike Vogel, who just starred in Cloverfield, is apparently up for the role now.

G.I. J.O.E takes on a cast.

We already knew that Ray Park was cast as Snake Eyes in the big budget Steven Sommers directed GI JOE coming out eventually, but did you know that Rachel Nichols and Sienna Miller will be playing Scarlett O'Hara and The Baroness respectively. And that Sam Worthington is in talks for a role? They've cast Heavy Duty, Breaker, but no Duke yet.

That's some awesome, awesome shit.
