Piazza hangs up his cleets...

Mike Piazza went from being a gritty Los Angeles Dodgers catcher to a much hated, much bleached blond New York Mets Catcher/1st Baseman. Some Piazza stats:

• 12 time Allstar making the NL Squad 10 years in a row.
• Career .308 batter, 427 HR (396 as a catcher), 1,335 rbis.
• His 396 HRs as a catcher is easily the most by a catcher ever. Carlton Fisk is second on that list with 351, followed by Johnny Bench (327) and Yogi Berra (306).
• He's pretty much a clear cut Hall of Famer.

Honestly...I thought he was overated as a catcher, but as a hitter not so much.
