Jason Garrett who was the Offensive Coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys; was offered the Head Coaching job in Baltimore. Not that it's a very lucrative job, but I mean, Head Coach is Head Coach. Regardless of that little nugget of truth, Jason Garrett decided to stay with the Cowboys when they offered to pay him $3 million a year, making him the highest paid Assistant Coach ever.
I am not really sure what all the hype is about Garrett. We're talking about a guy who spent the majority of his career sitting on the bench; or acting as Assistant Coach. . . which he now is anyway. He had 11 career TDs in 13 years! That's 1.18 a year. Which...kind of blows. He had 2,042 career passing yards in 13 seasons...Tom Brady threw for like a million this year alone.
